I love seeing how other people organize their sewing space, don't you?! So when I saw that Karen over at Sew Many Ways is having people link up the ways they organize their thread, I had to join in! Plus, I haven't officially revealed my new sewing space!!!
So here it is!!!
This was an extra bedroom but now that my parents have moved to Texas we no longer need the extra bed! So I now have my very own sewing room!!!!
I keep quite a bit in that dresser! Interfacing, fusible fleece, totes, templates, fabric.
My vintage Singer! And I love having all of my books in one place!!
Fat quarter storage!
Closeup of my thread!
I never thought that I would have a space just for sewing! I plan to enjoy it while I have it!!
I will also be linking up with Pink Chalk Fabrics ... Where I Sew Month!
By the way, there's still time to enter the giveaway!

Very neat. I long for a whole sewing room!
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome! I am trying to organize my sewing stuff right now. I actually bought one of those CD-shelves for my FQs, but I didnt wanna put it together before I knew where it's gonna be standing. Are those thread organizers bought or handmade?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great sewing space...love how you organized your FQs!! TFS
ReplyDeleteI love this, Lori! Such a beautiful clean space! I've gained and lost my sewing room, and now it looks like I may need to move from the kitchen into the kids' playroom. I keep thinking I have everything organized, and then it changes again -- life is never boring around here! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great sewing space! Loving how neat and tidy everything is! Just remember to put up a design wall in there =D
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to have your own sewing space!!! We have an extra bedroom here, but my MIL lives in it! So all I have is a sewing corner....in my room! I wish it was bigger! Maybe one day!
ReplyDeleteI dream of a whole room just for my sewing/craft room. But I am making the best use, I think, of my laundry room. It even doubles as an extra bedroom when the grandkids come to visit. I love your thread storage, so neat and tidy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful sewing space! Love your vintage machine too!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Much tidier than my sewing space. I would be embarrassed to show my mess :) Plus, mine is in the laundry room. Clothes and fabric everywhere. Count your blessings!
ReplyDeleteWow!! How utterly gorgeous and yay you for getting a sewing room all your own :) Very inspiring and thank you for sharing !
ReplyDeleteYour room is beautiful! Where did you find the rods that you have your scissors, etc., hanging from?
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous. I have convinced Mr T to let me use the spare room, seeing that all my sewing stuff is up there already but there isn't much room for my sewing machine and no room for a cutting table. I do like your room though and all those lovely FQ's so nicely placed.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so amazingly clean and organized!
ReplyDeleteYour sewing room is super cute. I am visiting to check out your thread storage. However, I like your rods and hooks too. Are they curtain rods? What kind of hooks? It looks really nice - thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute sewing space!!! Looking forward to the day when I can move from the dinning table to a room!
ReplyDeleteCool space, sooo jealous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful space! Nice and clean too!
